On November 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in front of Corner Market in the Delchamps Plaza, the Knights of Columbus will host a food drive to assist the Community Store House Food Pantry.
7th Year: Food Drive
It is the seventh year that the Knights have organized food drives for the food pantry.
In What Manner was Food denoted?
Over the course of those seven years, they have collected more than 17,000 pounds of food and $9,800 in monetary donations for the food pantry.
Food Pantry: What will it Have?
The food pantry is in need of jelly, peanut butter, various canned items (but not gallon cans), ramen noodles, cornbread mix, dried beans, crackers, spaghetti sauce and noodles, individual servings of instant oatmeal, evaporated milk, boxed macaroni and cheese, and various other food items. Gallon cans are not needed.
